At Erie Canal Adventures, we provide the means to explore one of the most impressive waterways in North America. Our Story
LOCKS!
Our boats are called Lockmaster for a reason. Along your journey, you will have an opportunity to experience these engineering marvels that make canal travel the most impressive example of human kind's ability to harness nature. Our purpose-built vessels have specially designed features that will allow you to traverse locks like even the most experienced "canalers".
History
Our entire fleet of Lockmaster boats was built by Midlakes Navigation out of Skaneateles NY. The Wiles Family develop the canal boat rental business reminiscent of a trip they took as a family to explore the canals of the UK on a narrowboat. Erie Canal Adventures acquired the business from the Wiles Family and we look forward to continuing their legacy of providing exceptional vacation opportunities in this region.
